2. Bringing about enhanced innovation of theories in sustainable development and creation of new research frontiers by learning from the significant issues that developing countries face. Certificate Program in Sustainable Development (CPSD) is the first inter-college, and international program, targeted to a mixed student body composed of working professionals, mid-career students, and continuing university students that are enrolled in at least one of the master’s degree programs in the university.

NCKU strives to better serve in the Asia-Pacific community with its competitive and practical research achievements. NCKU believes that the region of the South and Southeast Asia will continue to increase its level of importance on the world. From matters ranging from environment, to climate change, to politics, and to cultural issues, we will be involved in a spectrum of issues that will affect the world today and tomorrow. This is the time to grab hold of the opportunities we have to embrace our region with cooperative projects and research that will in turn involve and shape the world.
